Through a partnership with Connection Fellowship Church (Piedmont, SC), Open Door Biblical Counseling Center (ODBCC) is able to offer affordable, professional, biblical counseling to individuals and families experiencing difficulties / crisis. Steve Ellis, Ph.D. is passionate about assisting pastors / churches in bearing the load of discipleship through providing biblical counseling in a confidential, personal environment that helps people deal with the challenges of this journey called real life.

Open Door approaches every person with the consistency of biblical truth, understanding that it teaches that every person is uniquely gifted as an individual, wonderful creation of God. As a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, and former businessman, Dr. Ellis understands that life can be difficult...but that God is the Great Physician who brings healing and victory through our surrender to His incredible plan and purpose for our lives.

With over 25 years in local church ministry, Dr. Ellis understands the pressures faced by pastors and their families, as well as the struggle of fitting in the ministry of counseling. ODBCC can also offer seminars / training for individuals or groups in areas such as marriage, family, grief, abortion recovery, dealing with divorce, spiritual gifts assessment, etc.
