APS – Arno Profile System:
This tool determines an individual’s temperament and helps in giving
understanding to how we attempt to meet our needs. It also gives a good
understanding of why we do what we do.
This tool is based on Psalm 139 and how we are created as individuals
mentally, emotionally and physically.
Training:
Open Door Biblical Counseling Center (ODBCC) is a Certified Academic
Institution (CAI) for the National Christian Counselor’s Association
(NCCA). Individuals can pursue training in counseling through ODBCC.
This training can provide resources to become a lay counselor, a
certified temperament counselor, or a B.S., M.A., or Ph.D. in Biblical
Christian counseling.
Vision:
"Our desire for each individual is that according to the riches of
God’s glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His
Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts
through faith--that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have
strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and
length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that
surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory
in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and
ever." – Ephesians 3:14-21
